Manifesting deep connection with the natural world of the island of Aruba, the art portrayed on driftwood presents the true vision of Maja‘s creativity. “Each piece of driftwood I find evokes  different memories and triggers emotions in my mind”- says Maja when asked about her inspiration. She believes that she is just a messanger and those pieces of wood tell their story through her. “My driftwood has travelled for miles to find a place to stay. Through my art, it lives forever…”
